Because it is fully non-custodial, there is no account to open and nothing to verify — you install the plugin, add your wallet, and start accepting crypto the same day.
What "no KYC" means
What you skip with VelozaPay
No identity documents
No passport, ID card or proof of address. Nothing to upload, nothing to be approved.
No account or sign-up
There is no VelozaPay account. The plugin only ever stores public wallet addresses you provide.
No approval wait
No application, no review queue. The gateway works the moment a wallet address is saved.
How it works
Why no KYC is possible
KYC obligations fall on businesses that hold other people's money — custodial processors and exchanges. VelozaPay never holds your funds. When a customer pays, the crypto is forwarded on-chain directly to the wallet address you set in the plugin. The payment is between the customer's wallet and yours; VelozaPay only routes the request and confirms it. With no custody, there is no money-transmitter role and therefore no KYC step.
FAQ
No-KYC payments — questions
Why does VelozaPay need no KYC?
KYC exists because custodial processors hold your money — that makes them money transmitters with identity obligations. VelozaPay is non-custodial: every payment settles on-chain straight to a wallet you control, and VelozaPay never holds the funds. With nothing held, there is no account to verify.
Do I need to create an account?
No. You install the WooCommerce plugin and paste your own crypto wallet addresses. There is no sign-up form, no email confirmation and no dashboard login required to start accepting payments.
Will my customers have to pass KYC?
No. Customers pay from their own wallet on the VelozaPay payment page — they do not register, upload ID or create an account to pay.
Is it legal to accept crypto without KYC?
Receiving crypto payments to a wallet you own is legal in most countries — it is the same as being paid directly. VelozaPay not requiring KYC does not change your own obligations: you remain responsible for your local tax and business rules. This page is information, not legal advice.
Is it safe if there is no verification?
Yes. Security here does not come from KYC — it comes from the blockchain. Payments are confirmed on-chain and are irreversible, so there are no chargebacks or fraud reversals to protect against.
